    The building is inspired in its design by a Chinese lantern creating different appearances from day to night. A large rooftop opening brings natural light to all floors of the building and promotes efficient natural ventilation.

  • Bologna Municipal head offices (2008) Folded like a giant “origami”, the covering acts as a shade screen sheltering the building from the sun, giving certain cohesion to the complex. The more exposed façades were produced with slightly inclined glass. Inside, radiant-heating floors maintain a constant temperature.
